1976 년 그룹 이름으로 발표한 앨범.
캐나다 출신의 3인조....
80년대 러쉬와 함께 캐나다 하드락을 양분했던 바로 그 트라이엄프...
Gil Moore(드럼/보컬), Mike Levine(베이스/키보드), Rick Emmett(기타/보컬)
이런 구성이다.
러쉬의 음악이 상대적으로 아트록적인 요소가 강하다면, 트라이엄프의
음악은 상대적으로 하드록적인 요소가 강하다 할 수 있다.
초기 대표곡 Rock'n'roll Machine 이라든가 Allied Force, Play With The Fire 같은
곡들을 통해 쉽게 알 수 있다.
그렇지만 이들의 앨범들을 대해보면 다양한 종류의 음악들로 채워져 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.
때로는 하드록으로, 때로는 발라드로, 그리고 때로는 프로그레시브적인 곡들로....
하지만 이러한 곡들이 놀라울 정도로 완벽하게 조화롭게....
결국 3명이 연주하는 것이라구는 믿기 어려울 정도로 사운드가 꽉 차는 느낌이 든다,
