Chrysalis (영어 버젼) / Désirs contraires (프랑스어 버전)는 Anggun 의 두 번째 국제
스튜디오 앨범 입니다.
이 앨범은 2000 년 8 월 30 일 일본에서 처음 출시 된 영국과 아시아의 15 개국 이상에서
Columbia Records 와 Sony Music Entertainment 에 의해 발표되었으며 2000 년 10 월 2 일에
프랑스에서 초연되는 프랑스 버전이 발매되었습니다. 데뷔 앨범의 세계 음악 작곡으로,
Chrysalis 는 R & B 와 주변 음악의 요소를 지닌 전기 톱 소리를 특징으로합니다.
앨범은 Erick Benzi에 의해 다시 제작되었지만 Anggun 작곡의 일부를 선보였다.
Anggun(앙군)은 또한 영어 버전으로 전체 자료를 공동 작곡했습니다.
Chrysalis 는 Billboard 의 European Top 100 Albums 차트에서 66 위에 데뷔했습니다.
이탈리아에서 두 번째 톱 10 앨범이되었고, 출시 후 일주일 만에 골드디스크를 땁니다.
인도네시아에서는 크리 살리스 가 4 개의 플래티넘 인증을 받았습니다.
Désirs 는 프랑스 앨범 차트 에서 48 위가 정점에 이르렀으며 프랑스 에서는 약 3 만장의
판매고를 기록했죠.
앨범은 프랑스 밖에서의 상업적 성공을 위해 Platinum Export를 받았다. 풀려 난 싱글은
" Still Reminds Me "와 "Chrysalis", 그리고 Désirs contraires의 " Ungeste d' amour "
와 " Derrière la porte " 였습니다 . 앨범을 홍보하기 위해 Anggun은 2001 년 2 월 1 일
Le Bataclan 에서 프랑스 최초의 콘서트를 비롯하여 아시아와 유럽 전역을 여행하기
시작했습니다.
