노래 제목은 단식투쟁. (Hunger Strike) 이 노래를 만든 그룹은 91년
단 한 장의 앨범을 발표한
Temple of the Dog라는 생소한 이름의 그룹이지만,
이 노래를 들어보면 웬만한 락 팬이라면 익숙한 목소리임에 놀랄 것이다.
Pearl Jam과 Soundgarden의 멤버들이 함께 만든 앨범이다.
91년 이들이 메이저 성공을 이루기 직전에,
펄 잼 멤버들이 원래 있던 그룹의 보컬 Andrew Wood의 사망으로 한시적으로
함께한 그룹이다.
동시에 펄 잼의 보컬 Eddie Vedder가 샌디에고에서 시애틀로 날아와서
정식 Pearl Jam으로 데뷔하기 전에 최초로 녹음한 곡이기도 하다.
